botan stable (1.10) hasn't been updated since 2013 in gentoo. The last version is 1.10.10, released this august, according to upstream. This is probably a harmless update. Those minor updates are especially important for this kind of security-related software. Reproducible: Always
Added: botan-1.10.10 botan-1.11.20 As time progresses, it is harder to maintain this package as build system is proprietary and has no respect to any of conventions an customization that are needed for packaging. For now I think we are good, but likely broken at next fix release.
