I'd like to introduce new package to the tree, it's called "isa-l". This is a library from Intel to do quick calculation of erasure code. isa-l is used by ceph and sheepdog (and probably other distributed file systems). Ceph is in a tree (also please look at bug #560020), sheepdog is absent. I'm going to submit ebuild for sheepdog in a near future.
As for now isa-l builds fine on amd64, on x86 I've got unresolved build error.
