Description David Ripton 2004-07-03 08:37:16 UTC
emerge fmod with ~x86 gets fmod-3.73

This fetches fmodapi373linux.tar.gz, 897394 bytes, June 9, md5sum d50a9f4827ad54aa2dfcc2a27c2a094b, from a Gentoo mirror.

digest-dmod-3.73 says
MD5 32e755eb7b9eb0e04c8ffa36cfe84a49 fmodapi373linux.tar.gz 897303

Downloading from http://fmod.org gives a file consistent with that found on the Gentoo mirrors, not with the values in the digest file.

Either the Gentoo digest file was just wrong for almost a month (doubtful), or fmod upgraded the package without changing the version number (likely), or fmod.org got hacked and a different version of this file substituted (unlikely but possible).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge fmod
Actual Results:
!!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match)
>>> our recorded digest: 32e755eb7b9eb0e04c8ffa36cfe84a49
>>>  your file's digest: d50a9f4827ad54aa2dfcc2a27c2a094b
!!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//fmodapi373linux.tar.gz

Expected Results:
md5sum should have matched.
