Description Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2015-09-02 01:43:04 UTC
Please add video_cards_amdgpu to use.mask so we can remove the mask from the base profile.

If HPPA team gives me permission, then I can do the change myself.

What does that do? Does it cover this one?:

80:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV350 GL [FireGL T2] (rev 80)

The xf86-video-amdgpu driver is for newer AMD cards such as R9 285, R9 380 and R9 Fury. It is useful only in combination with mesa's radeonsi driver which is masked on HPPA due to lack of LLVM support (bug 320221 comment 5).

The card which you mentioned is supported by the xf86-video-ati driver.

Masked. Thanks for the info.
