ngrep-1.41 works flawlessly on the amd64 arch but yet is still masked in the portage. I think it is time for its unmasking. If ngrep-1.41 is not yet ready why not set the portage to use ngrep-1.40 on amd64 by default?

Hey eradicator, consider this my "thank you" card for the wonderful presents you sent me today :P. All other archs in ngrep have this in the stable branch, so it's probably about time for amd64, too.

Looks fine to me... did a few simple tests from the USAGE file... marked stable...
