Description James 2015-08-25 19:00:10 UTC
There's no stable version of libreoffice; they've moved on and there isn't a stable build. This is starting to happen increasingly frequently with libreoffice. There should be an effort to ensure that there's always one stable build.

> There's no stable version of libreoffice

You mean "the gentoo stable version of libreoffice-l10n fails to download from the upstream server and from my local mirror".

As a workaround, please check if adding 1-2 additional mirrors (not just your local ftp://gentoo.arcticnetwork.ca) to make.conf allows you to download.

For example, I think the files may still be available on http://gentoo.osuosl.org/

Please use valid mirror settings.
Comment 4 Julian Ospald 2015-08-31 22:38:02 UTC
Invalid SRC_URI is not acceptable and a QA issue. Relying on gentoo mirrors is not really a permanent solution.

Can you elaborate what is wrong with using a valid upstream download location?

Can we please be a bit more collaborative or at least communicative?
Comment 5 Julian Ospald 2015-09-02 13:07:31 UTC
Is there a communication problem here? I don't see an explanation.
