Description James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2015-08-15 21:27:58 UTC
I wouldn't normally bother filing a bug for a version bump but this is to remind myself or whoever gets around to it that we are only building the main component of oracle-javamail and there are several more that could be built. The "jars" target (as opposed to the "jar" target) looks as though it builds most of the other components. mbox is missing, probably because the build.xml is somewhat obsolete following a shift to Maven. Note that the mbox component includes native code.

Mentioned in IRC just adding here for others sake. I do not believe sun-javamail ever provided more than 1 jar. The other stuff would be nice, but not sure its necessary. mbox is a pretty dead format, not sure if anything still uses that, maybe some local stuff. Most things have moved to maildir format.

We'll revisit this bug, should the need to add mbox or other components to the jar file arises (hasn't been the case up until now).
