Here is the site for the hardware accelerated OpenAL using ALSA: http://www.lost.org.uk/openal.html

(It only works for newer Creative Soundcards like SB-Live and Audigy.

If you could provide an update to the current openal ebuild which uses these extra features when USE=emu10k1 is set, that would be good... otherwise this will take a while for us to get to

Sorry, I am currently very busy with other stuff.
2nd I have no Creative Card to test.
But in a few weeks I could try to make an ebuild.
