Hi.

Libreoffice 4.4.5.2 ~amd has its issues.
It crashes sometimes dealing with italian/english/japanese swriter documents.
I installed from debs latest binary libreoffice-5.Which dosn't showed these problems.

This brings me thinking about a binary gentooish installation of latest "fresh" versions of libreoffice.

I'm not able to do such a work.

Have you in mind to make a libreoffice-bin package of latest versions (in my lacking mind it seems easier than source coded).

Usually -bin packages are made of stable libreoffice. So far, 5.5 and dependencies don't even have keywords, so there's going to be some time before that happens.

In the meantime, can you point to a specific bug about your problems? If the crashes are gone in 5, there must have been a fix.
