xjump is a simple X game, the aim is to jump up as many levels of a tower as possible without falling off. The ebuild fetches the source from a Debian server, as this is the only place I could find the code, so I guess that the source file will need to copied onto a Gentoo mirror. games-arcade/xjump would seem a sensible place for this. Ebuild will follow in a minute, I've marked it ~x86 as I tested it on my athlon-xp machine. Alastair Murray

Created attachment 34803 [details] The ebuild, with formatting revised Oops, the original ebuild had some spaces instead of tabs.

Hmmmm. The ebuild is pretty good, but the game turns off keyrepeat when you play it so it's not very friendly. No english docs either.
Created attachment 38154 [details] cleaner ebuild Here's a tidy version of the ebuild. The key repeat issue still needs to be addressed before going into portage.
Created attachment 45722 [details] xjump-2.7.5.ebuild Ebuild that uses the Debian patch. Still leaves the key repeat turned off after the game exits.
Figured out what I was doing wrong wrt the debian patches. games-arcade/xjump added to portage.
