Description Ashley Penney 2002-07-25 11:15:08 UTC
After building 1.2 from stage1, an emerge vi results in a segfault when the
binary is run from the console.

By default, TERM=linux. This causes a segfault. If this is changed to ansi
or xterm, it stops segfaulting.

This is with vi-3.7-r1. I have enabled the options:

CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe"

The rest were set to the default.

Carpaski, you love vi, so make it work for our install CD :)

Been a week with no comment. Assuming it's fixed from bug 4599.
