This is a minor bug fix release over 3.4.51.2 so while it is "new", I don't believe there is big risk of regression over 3.4.51.2. As far as I can see, there are no major regressions since the last stable, only a minor incorrect comment in bug 528484. This stabilization is needed to fix usb3-related boot on our official livecd and elsewhere, it's fairly important. Thanks!
I agree I see no need to wait 30 days on this, the previous version has been in the tree for nearly a year. Arch teams, please go to it.
Richard (ryao), it would appear that the releases 3.4.51.1 and .2 are cut from the "kernel-config" branch and were not merged into master. Could you get those merged so that we can resume cutting releases from master? We just noticed that this .3 release does not have your fixes like FHANDLE because you never merged them to master. Thanks
genkernel is in a very good place bug I'd like to see https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=557278 fixed before we call for stable.
What do you guys think about targeting 3.4.52.2 for stable? We could really use some of these changes in the install cd's. I see a few new bug reports but none of them look like regressions.

This is blocking the major bug 522176 that causes people to be unable to install Gentoo using official media on a ton of setups (all using USB3) Either bug 557278 is finally fixed or it shouldn't block this
I will CC arches tomorrow to try to stop people from getting incomplete ISOs that lead them to unbootable install mediums :|
amd64 stable
alpha stable
x86 stable
arm stable
ppc stable
sparc stable
But what's about bug 564736 - broken default kernel config in 3.4.52 and later versions!?
ia64 stable
Pending arches -> ping! This is important as it's needed to finally fix bug 522176
Stable for HPPA PPC64.
Thanks to commit df9718fde6929af47ccd6e34322172eaa1e14765 some architectures are now on 3.4.52.3 and some others are on 3.4.52.2...
