Description Matthew Schultz 2015-07-18 05:53:28 UTC
Please resurrect kde-misc/wacomtablet-2.0.2 due to crash in 2.1.0. The latest version does not work at all when you plug in a bamboo tablet. The widget crashes every time. I'd love to know how 2.1.0 was even stabilized due to this egregious bug. When I resurrected and installed 2.0.2, the kde widget worked fine with no issues whatsoever.

2.0.2 doesn't seem to work for me either (I can't choose a device or profile) but at least it doesn't cause kded4 to crash like 2.1.0 does

I've submitted a small workaround/patch to the upstream bug page if anyone is still facing the same issue and wants to give it a try

We are in the process of preparing the removal of Plasma 4. Please test kde-misc/wacomtablet-3.0.0_beta1 which is under stabilization.
