Firefox-39 only needs >=dev-libs/glib-2.26:2 , so I'm not sure what emerge is doing. If i had to guess though I would think that rsync://rsync.prefix.bitzolder.nl/gentoo-portage-prefix is possibly out of date or badly sync'ed somehow.
glib needs a sync
It should be fixed by now. Please test with latest releases from the tree and open a new ticket if there are problems.
