Very important to us in the scientific community!

Just add "`use_enable python`" to the configure switches.  :)

My apologies -- PyROOT was committed to ROOT _after_ the release of 3.10.02.  It is under active development, so it might be best to wait for ROOT 4.0.x rather than backporting.

I am resolving this bug, and will resubmit if necessary when 4.0.x is released.
