The new version is a complete rewrite and adds tons of new features, e.g. config-files for often used features. Please mark 3.0 testing and 2.52 stable (I'm using it since a few months, not a single problem). 2.53 has been also released and contains only one single bugfix, so you might want to mark 2.53 stable instead of 2.52.

I have installed version 3.04 on my system. I have been using it with no problems. Might I second a version bump? At least to the 3.00 version?
Yep, 3.04 runs fine here as well. I won't add a new ebuild just because of a version change, but it would be nice to see a 3.x stable or at least testing sometime soon.
Anybody taking care of this ebuild? album-2.44 is really old and is unsupported by now. Also, the new versions have numbers, so the copy on the gentoo-mirrors becomes obsolete.
Since there has been no reply from graphics@gentoo.org, I'm reassigning this one to the last person who bumped album according to the changelog.
OK, album-3.05 is out. Could *please* someone bump the version? Ebuild is attached (just rename it) and nothing will break.

Great, thanks. Could you maybe bump the version to 3.05 as well? There have been quite a few bugfixes. Just checked it, renaming the ebuild to 3.05 and generating the digest works.
