A patch has been submitted some time ago on the xfree bugzilla (ok, kill me for looking at the xfree bugzilla) that enables correct support for the ATI Radeon Integrated Graphics Processor chipset in many notebooks (in combination with the DRI cvs). It would be just one less antagonizing step for owners of these chipsets if the patch were in the xorg patchset.
The patch is linked to in the provided URL and applies cleanly even after all of the current patchset is applied.

Cleaning old bugs with state LATER.

IGP support is in xf86-video-ati so this is FIXED somehow :]
