compiled /net-im/caim on gentoo sparc (system all stable-tree built), everything built but when executed was -slightly- odd but seemed functional. definately worthy of ~sparc status, currently only accepts x86 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.# sudo emerge caim 2.# caim Actual Results: program executes Expected Results: executed
Does this work for anyone else? The program runs but I never get logged into AIM.
the program behaves exactly as it does on x86 ... its buggy, but the same. -Tim
Is the program actually usable for you? Even though caim reports it is logged in on ~x86, sparc and ~sparc for me, the user does not appear online to other screen names.
If we can get more verified reports of caim working, please add them here and I'll re-open. In the meantime, I'm marking as WONTFIX as I cannot get this to work on any machine I've tried, x86 or sparc.
