When I try the version from https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl then it works.

joerg@bastellinux ~/yt $ ./youtube-dl --version
2015.06.25
Comment 3 Casper Ti. Vector 2015-07-02 18:24:26 UTC
Hello, upon inspection of the source code, I found the problem to be with the filter for offensive contents in the ebuild. `xhamster' now also has a multiline import statement in `youtube_dl/extractor/__init__.py', so it should be moved from `$xxx' to `$mxxx'. Patch follows.

Perhaps we can increase the level of automation a little. What about the following?

That's a different bug than the one in 06.25.

The rest of the patch is illegible. Did you know you can attach files to bug reports?

Seemy python 3.4 is broken or the script is broken.

Considering the exactly same nature of these issues and that they happen consecutively in a short time range, I think it is not too incorrect; nevertheless it is also understandable to regard them separate for administrative reasons as you do.

> The rest of the patch is illegible.
Basically,
(1) Merge `${mxxx}' into `${xxx}'.
(2) For each `${xx}' in `${xxx}', automate the differentiation between single-line and multiline import statements by means of `grep -q "^from \.${xx} import (" youtube_dl/extractor/__init__.py'.
(3) Restructure the remaining workflow accordingly.

Well, I just forgot that... Perhaps some kind of amnesia?

I didn't want an explanation. The whitespace in the patch is mangled when posted as a comment.

By the way, do try =net-misc/youtube-dl-2015.07.07.

And if something is wrong with it, don't tell about it on _this_ bug report.

Well, it appears that the word "illegible" led to a confusion. Anyway I think it is unnecessary to repost the patch as an attachment, since you do not seem to be interested in the content of the patch.
