Description Malte E. 2015-06-18 12:40:26 UTC
emerge: there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy "dev-qt/qtgui:5[opengl]".
!!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-qt/qtgui-5.4.2::gentoo (Missing IUSE: opengl)

The opengl USE flag of qtgui is not available in 5.4.2 anymore but required when kinfocenter is compiled with opengl
Comment 1 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2015-06-18 12:42:53 UTC
Please add full output (it's already fixed in CVS so the bug must be coming from somewhere else).

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

dev-libs/icu:0

  (dev-libs/icu-55.1:0/55::gentoo, installed) pulled in by
    >=dev-libs/icu-51.2-r1:0/55=[abi_x86_32(-),abi_x86_64(-)] required by (media-libs/harfbuzz-0.9.38:0/0.9.18::gentoo, installed)
                          ^^^^^^
    (and 4 more with the same problem)

  (dev-libs/icu-54.1-r1:0/54a::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    dev-libs/icu:0/54a= required by (www-client/chromium-43.0.2357.65:0/0::gentoo, installed)
                ^^^^^^^

It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in
the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can
not be installed simultaneously.

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man
page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

emerge: there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy "dev-qt/qtgui:5[opengl]".
!!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-qt/qtgui-5.4.2::gentoo (Missing IUSE: opengl)
(dependency required by "kde-plasma/kinfocenter-5.3.1::kde" [installed])
(dependency required by "kde-plasma/plasma-meta-5.3.1-r1::kde" [installed])
(dependency required by "@selected" [set])
(dependency required by "@world" [argument])

The icu problem is because I'm waiting for an update of chromium. It just takes too long to compile...
Comment 3 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2015-06-18 13:05:15 UTC
Your kde-plasma/kinfocenter-5.3.1 was installed from the kde overlay so portage doesn't consider the dependency updates we made in the tree version.
Comment 4 Malte E. 2015-06-18 13:17:18 UTC
Oh. I didn't know overlays worked that way. Thanks!
