Bug #340078 is back in the most recent ebuild for schroot. Since you now switched to cmake, the patch from back then doesn't seem the right approach any more, so I didn't try to get that one reopened instead. But something equivalent will be neccessary to build the documentation before you can install it.

Yep, mea culpa.  I fixed it for the new build system, and actually tested the USE=doc version this time.
