I've been running GnuMP3d on my sparc since about r2.0. I modified the ebuild in the portage tree to include "~sparc" in the Keywords line for the /usr/portage/media-sound/gnump3d/gnump3d-2.8.ebuild. I emerged the ebuild and have been running gnump3d on my sparc for over a week wihtout problem. I'd be happy to provide logging or diagnostics if required, but I'd like to see that SPARCs are added to the platform list for this ebuild. I'd also like to volunteer resources to testing future ebuilds of gnump3d on my sparc, should it be required. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual Results: Sparc is not included in the KEYWORDS field in this ebuild Expected Results: sparc should be included in the KEYWORDS not sure how necessary it is, but here's my emerge info: Portage 2.0.50-r8 (default-sparc64-2004.0, gcc-3.3.3, glibc-2.3.3_pre20040420-r0,2.2.5-r2, 2.6.5) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.5 sparc64 sun4u Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 distcc 2.14 sparc-unknown-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] ccache version 2.3 [enabled] Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r4 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="sparc ~sparc" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-mcpu=ultrasparc -mtune=ultrasparc -O3 -pipe" CHOST="sparc-unknown-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/bind /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-mcpu=ultrasparc -mtune=ultrasparc -O3 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="ccache digest notitles sandbox userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo/ http://gentoo.mirrors.pair.com/ http://mirror.gentoo.gr.jp http://ftp.belnet.be/mirror/rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo/ ftp://gentoo.mirrors.pair.com/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/home/portage/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X acl amd apache2 async autofs avi berkdb bonobo chroot clamav crypt curl encode escreen esd ethereal evo fam fbcon flac foomaticdb freetype gb gd gdbm gif gnome gnutls gpm gstreamer gtk2 gtkhtml guile imagemagick imap imlib imlib2 java javascript jpeg kerberos krb4 ldap libwww mad maildir make-busybox-symlinks mcal md5sum mikmod mozilla mpeg mpeg4 mpi msn mysql ncurses nptl offensive oggvorbis pam pcap pcre pdflib perl php png python readline samba sasl sdl slang slp sparc spell ssl tcltk tcpd threads tiff truetype vhosts virus-scan xml2 xmms xosd xv xvid yahoo zeroconf zlib"
