Description Reuben Martin 2015-06-10 16:28:40 UTC
I have a bcache backed btrfs raid 0 storage array that is mounted in fstab by reference to it's UUID as found in /dev/disk/by-uuid

With the upgrade to systemd-220-r2, this device node is no longer created during boot. "btrfs fi show" shows that the file system is still there and in tact. After downgrading to systemd-219_p112 the dev nodes are correctly populated again.

There is a possibility this may be related to 551532

Reproducible: Always

Should be fixed by commit 19672f1e5fd23ec3ea5b93b8268ae07f2b8e9645. Please try systemd-221.

Confirmed that this is fixed in 221.
Comment 4 Alexander Tsoy 2015-07-06 23:54:54 UTC
systemd-221 is currently masked and udev-221 is not yet in the tree, so systemd and udev maintainers might want to backport this trivial fix to -220.

I will be unmasking systemd-221 or systemd-222 within the next couple of weeks.
