A so called "stable" version is planned since the beginning of this year. A delay was introduced from making the software compile on 64 bit Haiku and from waiting in hope that Haiku would restore the removed support for arbitrary generic SCSI targets that was present on BeOS. Meanwhile, there have been intensive unit tests and random tests for other programs from the schily toolset: smake, Bourne Shell, POSIX patch that resulted in a lot of bug-fixes. See https://sourceforge.net/projects/schilytools/files/ It seems to make sense to first publish the planned cdrtools-3.01a29 with cdrtools related changes since March.

BTW: cdrtools-3.01a29 has been published and will be the 3.01-final release candidate.
