Description Markus Lidel 2002-07-24 08:26:37 UTC
There is a bug in the glibc-2.2.5 when compiled with gcc-3.1 on a sparc
platform (sorry, for selecting "All" on Platform, but i only see "All and PC").
I used a SparcStation 10, but i don't know if it is reproducable on
UltraSparc's. When emerging without the Patch, the compilation of the glibc
dies with a "Error: illegal instruction".

Glibc ebuilds have been updated. Fix allows compilation of glibc by both 2.95.3
and gcc 3.2pre2.
