Hi You were right, a cron restart was needed on my server. That should be ok now, the distfiles are up to date from masterdistfiles.gentoo.org::gentoo and portage tree is syncing on rsync.europe.gentoo.org By the way can you have a look on this issue : ---- /usr/bin/rsync --recursive --links --perms --times --devices --delete --timeout=300 --stats --delay-updates --delete-after --exclude distfiles rsync://masterportage.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage /var/gentoo @ERROR: access denied to gentoo-portage from modulix.org (195.154.171.79) rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1635) [Receiver=3.1.1] --- I guess it is because this server is outgoing on internet with 195.154.171.79 IP while his incoming IP is 212.129.10.86 So, for now i sync from rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage but it would be nice if the real IP would also be added to authorized hosts list. I have also noticed that the alias used to be resolved for this server as rsync4.fr.gentoo.org does not work anymore. Thank's

I finally had a chance to look into this. It looks like your server had issues at some point in 2014 and was removed from the rsync rotation. I can add it again if you want. To complete our records, please quickly state the following: Location, bandwidth, max. concurrent users, inbound IP addresses, as well as ALL possible outbound IP addresses.
