I have libav library in my system and radiotray used to to work fine until the recent change to ffmpeg. I'm unable to merge it right now. Here is the error: emerge -pv radiotray These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order: Calculating dependencies... done! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 509326 ***
I disagree that my bug is a duplicate. In my patch, I've made few dependencies optional and gst-plugins-ffmpeg is one of them. It starts and plays my online radio just fine See https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/radiotray/ gstreamer0.10-bad-plugins (optional) – (unknown) gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg (optional) – (unknown) gstreamer0.10-ugly-plugins (optional) – (unknown) Please have a look at the patch. I believe it makes an ebuild cleaner
