Description Steve Trout 2015-05-22 18:43:34 UTC
I set portage to sync with rsync6.us.gentoo.org (which is Univserity of Northern Iowa) via mirrorselect, and when I tried to sync I see the error at the end of this message. Other mirrors work so I assume it's a server-side problem.

Additionally http://gentoo.cs.uni.edu/ appears to be down (HTTP 404).

Hello Paul,

monitoring confirms the problems, can you look into them?

Thanks!
Comment 2 Paul Gray 2015-05-23 11:51:35 UTC
The raid array had dropped offline. Sorry for the drop in service. It should now be restored.

Looking good, thanks for the incredibly quick resolution in the wee hours and on a weekend. You rock!
