...oh, well, that overlay is broken. Just as its wiki page says, you should report it to https://github.com/Verlihub/gentoo-overlay issue page. Also, explain the people with write access to that overlay that 'dev-lang/python' dep is covered by python 3, which might not be quite what they've meant. Haven't looked too deep into it, but it seems many of the ebuilds there need a major rewrite.
