Looking at the list at "Packages in Distributions" on https://launchpad.net/cloud-init I see

  Version 0.7.7~bzr1106-0ubuntu1 uploaded on 2015-05-15
  Version 0.7.7~bzr1091-0ubuntu1 uploaded on 2015-04-17 
  Version 0.7.6~bzr1022-0ubuntu3 uploaded on 2015-03-11

A bump is not urgent with me, just wanted to be sure it's not slipping through.

I don't see it here https://launchpad.net/cloud-init/+download

That's where the ebuild sources it's install file from.  It seems ubuntu is packaging based off of a commit hash instead of a tag (or the equiv in bzr).  I'm currently only packaging releases for cloud-init.

FYI I have opened a ticket upstream asking for a new release at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-init/+bug/1468021
No reaction so far.
