Description Alex Fell 2004-06-24 01:32:42 UTC
Since upgrading to mplayer-1.0_pre4 all videos play with a blue tint. I am using the X11 drivers to play video as the Intel-i810 ones are buggy. Please see URL above for similar descriptions.

Fixed on my system by downgrading mplayer to 0.92-r1

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mplayer-1.0-pre4
2. play a video (any format) using X11 drivers

Actual Results:
video plays with blue tint

Expected Results:
plays with normal colour

emerge info output:

I was indeed able to create it.

However, the true issue seems to be that the red and blue channels are switched.

I've contacted upstream and will see what comes of it :).

This was fixed in the latest cvs.

Hopefully it will be part of the pre5 version that's comming sometime (now,
never, later :P?). If it isn't fixed in pre5, I'll see where the issue is, get
a patch, and push it here.

Now we just sit and wait.

Fixed in pre5.
