Comment 1 Jeremy Huddleston (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-25 12:35:15 UTC
can you please try beta14 and beta16
Comment 2 M. Edward Borasky 2004-06-26 18:10:46 UTC
I didn't try beta 14, but I just tried beta 16 and it compiled just fine.
Comment 3 Ákos Maróy 2004-06-27 01:04:36 UTC
yes, beta16 compiles fine.

but then, should we add beta16 as the regular x86 target, and either remove beta11-r1, or mark it as ~x86?
Comment 4 Jeremy Huddleston (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-28 03:03:35 UTC
beta16 is stable on x86/amd64. I sent a note to ppc to ask them to test it out on their platform, and once they get beta16 stable, I'll remove the old ebuilds.
