can you please try beta14 and beta16
I didn't try beta 14, but I just tried beta 16 and it compiled just fine.
yes, beta16 compiles fine. but then, should we add beta16 as the regular x86 target, and either remove beta11-r1, or mark it as ~x86?
beta16 is stable on x86/amd64. I sent a note to ppc to ask them to test it out on their platform, and once they get beta16 stable, I'll remove the old ebuilds.
