Created attachment 403030 [details] GNS3 screenshot.png The default "Charcoal" style of GNS3 simply renders the application impossible to work with on first use. Some GUI texts are barely visible. See screenshot. Unless the "Charcoal" style can be fixed, please change the default style to "Classic". PS: I'm omitting `emerge --info` etc, because this is clearly an application issue. PPS: The workaround for people with good eyesight is to navigate to the preferences dialog and change the style under the general page from "Charcoal" to something else. An alternative workaround is to change the style in ~/.config/GNS3/gns3_gui.conf: { "MainWindow": { "style": "Classic" }}

Please test as well and confirm. net-misc/gns3-gui-1.3.1-r1 will be removed once 1.3.3 is released.
Issue has been resolved upstream and affected version is being removed from Portage.
