libXpresent has been released. It provides an Xlib-compatible API for the Present extension. http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-announce/2015-April/002584.html Reason for packaging it now: xfwm4 in git master will now use it when available. Having it available now allows developers to easily test it out. http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/commit/?id=ae32b1c8dca527e117d3c373517a6941bd4c2e98 Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 402922 [details, diff] libXpresent-1.0.0.ebuild x11-libs/libXpresent/libXpresent-1.0.0.ebuild attached. I only have x86 hardware so that's the only keywords I filled in. It's based on the libXrender ebuild.
...and we have the first development branch release with it. @x11, feel like taking it?
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #2) > ...and we have the first development branch release with it. @x11, feel like > taking it? Yep, it should go under x11@ I'm really surprised that we weren't Cc'd on this bug a long time ago. Thanks for the heads up Michał.
Thanks a bunch Eric. I added a trivial patch from upstream and a few missed dependencies and pushed the package into the tree.
