Description Eric Koegel 2015-05-10 05:35:51 UTC
libXpresent has been released. It provides an Xlib-compatible API for the Present extension.
http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-announce/2015-April/002584.html

Reason for packaging it now: xfwm4 in git master will now use it when available. Having it available now allows developers to easily test it out.

libXpresent-1.0.0.ebuild

x11-libs/libXpresent/libXpresent-1.0.0.ebuild attached. I only have x86 hardware so that's the only keywords I filled in. It's based on the libXrender ebuild.

...and we have the first development branch release with it. @x11, feel like taking it?

Yep, it should go under x11@

I'm really surprised that we weren't Cc'd on this bug a long time ago. Thanks for the heads up Michał.

Thanks a bunch Eric. I added a trivial patch from upstream and a few missed dependencies and pushed the package into the tree.
