Description Cory McWilliams 2004-06-23 08:31:56 UTC
A planned power outage this Saturday, June 26th for the entire day (6am-10pm) will affect two of our mirrors.

rsync18.us.gentoo.org = 128.213.5.35 = a US rsync mirror
mirrors.acm.cs.rpi.edu = 128.213.5.34 = a full source mirror

I recommend pulling them out of any rotations they're in for the day, and I will report back when I'm confident power is restored.

Reproducible: Always

I've removed you from the rsync rotation. I was not aware that you were a full source mirror. Either way, when it's back up, let me know and I will re-add you. Thanks!

It looks like everything is back to normal.

Regarding our source mirror, bug 33004 was from when it was originally set up, just for reference. We have been listed as "Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (USA)" on http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml with the address http://128.213.5.34/gentoo/. If it is convenient, that can be changed to http://mirrors.acm.cs.rpi.edu/gentoo/.

Thanks a lot.

I've updated the link on the mirrors page to what you mentioned and added you back into the rsync.us.gentoo.org rotation. Thanks!
