Description David Carlos Manuelda 2015-05-06 18:11:53 UTC
Some of laptops with synaptics touchpad, also come with some sort of button to enable/disable it, and that button usually has a led to indicate status by color.

Under gentoo, this don't work and I don't find anything in portage to support it.

But googling it, I found that there are some distros which have packages for that (see URL for an example), and I'd like that to be present in gentoo also. Not sure if in a separate package, or a use variable for xf86-input-synaptics.

Can it be reviewed?

Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Also I found a kernel patch to add a module (seems so) to enable it.
