Description Martin Hierling 2015-05-06 08:39:15 UTC
Hi Guys,

after serving Gentoo mirror for many years we have to stop the service.
on the web mirror page we are not listed, but the dns rsync.de.gentoo.org delivers the ip, also rsync16.de.gentoo.org

$ host rsync.de.gentoo.org | grep 193.174.118.87
rsync.de.gentoo.org has address 193.174.118.87

You can also remove it from all ACL list.

Can you pls inform me when you are ready?
then i will shutdown.

So long, and thanks for all the ebuids.

regards Martin

Sorry to hear that.

FYI: Currently we only have distfile mirrors on the web, the rsync listing will come back.

I have removed you from the ACL, DNS, as well as the mirrorselect list.
