Bug in pigeonsieve made filters working wrongly. I don't know when next release of Pigeonhole will be made and dovecot-2.2.16-r1 is marked as stable. Maybe it could be worth to add patch from http://hg.rename-it.nl/dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole/rev/a3d26f12c2cd to fix it?
