yate 5.5.0 ebuild

The only difference to the ebuild in the tree is the added -5.5.0 to the patch, as it requires a trivial change.

Are you willing to proxy maintain this package? https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Proxy_Maintainers

Thanks a lot :)

Not sure how this got assigned to maintainer needed, this package is clearly marked as radio herd in the metadata. Assigning bugs to the right maintainer sure helps in getting attention.

yate.initd

If the package is not orphaned at all, then would it be possible to update/bump to 5.5.0?

Also I noticed, that the init script is kind of outdated.

See the attachement for the corrected initd file.

yate-5.5.0.ebuild

Also the previous ebuild doesn't install the initd file as well as the confd file.

This one should correct it.

Fixed, thanks for the help. Please feel free to discuss helping us maintain the package with proxy-maintainers, any and all help is welcome.

my knowledge of openrc is limited so I pinged Williamh about this on irc and I'll wait for him to rule in on the initd change.
Comment 9 Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2015-09-23 20:02:22 UTC
in the future, it makes it vastly easier to post diffs instead of posting the entire ebuild. it is typically safe to assume the maintainer will know what to name it, although you can add that in the comments. No need to change anything right now, just a note for the future.

multiple parties confirmed. fixed. thanks
