To install Gentoo I using LiveCD 2004.1.
In my local network to connect to the Internet, I use web page,
on which I enter login and password, access to this web page I
get via HTTPS protocol.

But no one browser from Live CD does not support https.

So I can not install Gentoo satge 1.

I hope on the next LiveCD you build lynx and links with openssl support.

I've explicitly added ssl to USE in livecd-stage1.  We should probably change this in the templates, too.

Also, could you try the -test4 CD in the /experimental/x86/livecd folder on a local Gentoo mirror and see if that solves the problem?

Thank you, I  believe it solves the problem.
