Description René Rhéaume 2015-04-11 20:04:32 UTC
According to the upstream wiki on https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/wiki
<quote>
Here, on github, we have three official branches:

"master" branch: the 1.1.2 stable version, which compiles with freerdp 1.1 stable

"next" branch: the future 1.2.0 version, which compiles with current freerdp master branch and will compile with freerdp 1.2 when released.

"gtk2" branch: a special remmina 1.1.1 version compatible with GTK2, compiles with freerdp 1.1 stable
</quote>

A new live ebuild should be created to use the "next" branch. The current live ebuild version may be then changed to 1.1.9999 to reflect itsreal status.

I received a bump from upstream bug tracker.

Pacho Ramos updated Remmina ebuild with 1.2.0-rc3 in last September but left the live ebuild intact, still pointing to 1.1 series sources. Is Tristan Heaven still an active Gentoo developer?

next is the default branch now. remmina-9999 is still in pretty rough shape but that'll get fixed when we update the non-live ebuild too
