Created attachment 400946 [details] Output of emerge --info When I open Keepass, it does not display in my system tray. My other icons in the tray move like Keepass is trying to display, but there is no icon neither clicking nor right-clicking in the space does nothing. My window manager is x11-wm/openbox-3.5.2-r1:3 and I'm using x11-misc/fbpanel-6.1-r2 for the panel that's displaying the system tray.
I also have this issue on both Gentoo and Manjaro. I think this happens across all distros. Seems to be a mono issue. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1284609 I'm using mono-4.4.1.0 and keepass-2.34.

I'm on KDE. I can click and interact with the tray icon as normal, the icon just doesn't display correctly.
Same for me with keepass 2.35, the icon is shown as tiny dot, with latest kde framework 5.9
I installed KeePassX https://www.keepassx.org/ and it works just fine. KeePass was made for Windows and has to be run through mono on Linux. KeePassX was made to be cross platform, so it shows in my system tray just fine. Not really a bug fix, but a relevant piece of info.
I always suspected the systray issue was because of Plasma 5 removing legacy systray support and xembedsniproxy not being perfect.
