Gthumb-3.3 is the development branch of gthumb with some new features. 
see https://git.gnome.org/browse/gthumb/tree/NEWS?id=3.3.4 for the 3.3.4 changes.
Mostly it builds the same as gthumb-3.2, but with some changed dependencies. 
1st - instead of libopenraw it now uses libraw
2nd - it can use LCMS2
3rd - I again added the map flag - with a warning that it is considerd highly unstable by upstream and to not file any bugs with gentoo. It should rely on the user to decide if this feature is wanted or not.

We tend to package only the stable branches, not testing versions
