Description matt shanley 2004-06-19 20:36:04 UTC
when trying to emerge either klogic-1.5 or 1.6 i get warned about missing kdelibs:

"checking for KDE... libraries /usr/kde/3.2/lib, headers /usr/kde/3.2/include
checking if UIC has KDE plugins available... configure: error: not found - you need to install kdelibs first.

!!! ERROR: app-sci/klogic-1.5 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line 118, Exitcode 1
!!! died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure"

i have kdelibs installed however:

"# equery list kdelibs
Searching for package 'kdelibs' in all categories among:
 * installed packages
[I--] [  ] kde-base/kdelibs-3.2.2-r1 (3.2)"

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I just added klogic-1.61 to Portage. You might want to try reemerging kdelibs, then installing klogic-1.61. If it still fails, please post the entire output of emerge.

Similar problems have been reported for other packages with recent kde ebuilds. Since it has nothing to do with klogic as far as I can see, and since reemerging kdelibs will likely fix the problem, I'll close this bug for now.
