Description Richard C 2004-06-19 19:04:23 UTC
As requested by the ebuild, here is the bug

 * Ebuilds (like this one) that use the webapp-apache.eclass need to
 * be converted to use the new webapp.eclass, to be compatible with
 * webapp-config.
 *
 * Please file a bug on http://bugs.gentoo.org/, stating that this
 * ebuild needs converting to use the new approach.
 * You need to unmerge your old SquirrelMail version first.
 * SquirrelMail will be installed into /var/www/localhost/htdocs//squirrelmail
 * directly instead of a version-dependant directory.

I backed up SquirrelMail, and then did an unmerge - it still complained about needing to be converted.

it does if you're in ~x86.
Comment 2 Richard C 2004-06-19 22:27:41 UTC
This was on my main server machine, I am not using ~x86 for anything in the Squirrel or Apache chain that I can think of, and my entire system is certainly not under ~x86.

This was for squirrelmail-1.4.3a.ebuild and I am using apache-2.0.49-r3.ebuild, both of which are NOT ~x86.

I don't know the etiquette around changing a bugs status so I will leave it as it is, but the ~x86 answer doesn't resolve the bug for me.
