when emerging ymessenger-0.99.19.ebuild, i get !!! Please download ymessenger_0.99.19-1 
from http://messenger.yahoo.com/messenger/download/unix.html and place into 
/usr/portage/distfiles

however, there are about 6 different files which I could download. after placing 2 of them into 
/usr/portage/distfiles and still getting the same error, i gave up, extracted the redhat 7.2 tgz 
into /opt and linked /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.6 to /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.2 and it worked fine 
(behind an http proxy even :) )

it does now (as of last night, on another bug report)
