All of the KDE 3 ebuilds have {DESCRIPTION} in the package info. Most of them had one word descriptions. At minimal, {DESCRIPTION} needs to be corrected to what I assume should say KDE.
This is correct; ${DESCRIPTION} is defined in kde-dist.eclass as "KDE $PV - " and is extended in the ebuilds. So you get a final result of e.g. "KDE 3.0.2 - Base" (but emerge -s doesn't support eclasses and displays a string wiht '${DESCRIPTION}' in it). This is from the era when I wanted to see how small eclass-using ebuilds could get, and so removed two words from every DESCRIPTION up into the eclasses. Not a very pretty thing I agree, and I'll fill in more detailed, and completely local, descriptions.
