Description Uwe Sauter 2015-03-24 15:30:04 UTC
Installed net-misc/openvswitch-2.3.0-r1 with USE="-debug -modules monitor python_targets_python2_7 ssl".

Shebangs in each contained Python script is wrong.
Actual state: "#! python2.7"
Should (probably) be: "#!/usr/bin/env python2.7"

Running those scripts result in "-su: /usr/sbin/ovs-bugtool: python2.7:
Defekter Interpreter: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden" (roughly translated: interpreter defect, file or directory not found).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge openvswitch with above USE flags
2. Check the contained Python scripts, e.g. with:

for f in $(for j in $(for i in $(equery f openvswitch); do if [ -f $i -a -x $i ]; then echo $i; fi; done); do file $j; done | awk -F ':' '/Python/ {print $1}'); do echo $f; head -n 1 $f; done

3. Try to run the scripts

Actual Results:
Shebang should be either "#!/usr/bin/python2.7" or better "#!/usr/bin/env python2.7".

The space looks hardcoded upstream and it should work with it. The space was causing the replace function we have for the shebang to fail though, so now I'm using sed.

it'll be in 2.3.1
