I tried to install frozen-bubble, of which smpeg is a dependency. I don't use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86". Just it with all possible combinations of flags (X gtk opengl), always the same result. Thought I'd mention it - might be helpful.
works fine for me. Please reopen with output from emerge --info.
Tried it again as you said it worked for you, still the same though. cleaned up the ebuild in portage ... please sync up and try it
Yep works fine now, thanks a lot everyone! I'll try to remember to post 'emerge --info' output next time ;-) Thanks.
Apparently the problem exists with another dependency of frozen-bubble too. This time it's sdl-mixer. I realise it's another package etc, but since it's the same problem and the bug's been assigned to games@gentoo for no other reason than smpeg being a game's dependency, I though I'd post it here too. Ludootje - open a new bug please.
Ok sorry for the trouble :o Moved to bug 55059. Thank you Mr. Bones.
