...because I have a job, a girlfriend, a dog, three cats, and other responsibilities within Gentoo that are of a higher priority than adding yet another quake3 mod to portage... I don't mean to be rude, but this isn't exactly a high priority item by anyone's standards. We will get to it when we get a chance and not before. Have some patience, as being overly pushy tends to reduce the priority of enhancement requests, rather than increase it.

Let's see... we've had a new release since this was posted, which took up 100% of my Gentoo time. Honestly, enhancement requests always get lowest priority simply because they're an enhancement, rather than a bug. We have limited time to work on Gentoo, and that time is almost always spent fixing show-stopping bugs. One of us will be getting to this soon enough. I have it in my queue of enhancement requests to get to, but it is behind about 40 other requests right now. So if nobody gets to it before I finish those other 40 (which were put in first), then I'll add this to portage.

You're going to be the only listed mirror in the ebuild, so I hope you're ready for that, especially since this mod is going to be RESTRICT="nomirror" so it won't come from the Gentoo mirrors at all. Is that cool?
